Harlem Ambassadors Coming To Cheyenne
The Harlem Ambassadors Basketball Tour will be visiting Cheyenne for a game at South High School on Friday March 16th, at 7:00 p.m. The Ambassadors have partnered with HOPE (Hispanic Organization for Progress and Education) to raise scholarship money for deserving Hispanic students who wish to pursue higher education.
Ticket sales, raffles and sponsor donations will go to HOPE. Concession sales will benefit the South High School Student Activity Fund. Read More...

Wyoming Lawmakers Pass Workplace Safety Bill [AUDIO]
Yellowstone National Park officials say the park’s wolf population has stabilized at about 100 wolves over the last two years. Doug Randall reports. Poison Prevention Urged
A spokeswoman for the Wyoming Poison Control Center says with National Poison Prevention Week coming up (March 18-25), now is a great time to consider the potential for accidental poisonings in your home. Joan Macavoy says prescription drugs and even over the counter medications are potential hazards, so it’s important to follow directions closely and know what is in the medications you are taking. She also says it’s important to keep medications out of reach of children, because ”there’s no such thing as a childproof container. Kids can usually get into any bottle in a minute or two”. Macavoy says 100 people a day die in the U-S from accidental poisonings, most commonly from prescription medications. She says that number has tripled since 1990. Read More...

Kaysen says Hail Damage Total Still Unknown
Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says the current tally of $719,000 in damages to city property from a pair of devastating hail storms last July will likely go much higher when the final total is known. Kaysen says the city is still assessing the damage, which includes 31 roofs and a number of other damages not included in the total so far. Kaysen says the good news is that due to good insurance policies the actual cost to the city will be relatively low. Read More...
Feds May Investigate Casper Spice [AUDIO]
The EPA will partner with the state of Wyoming and the USGS, in collaboration with the Northern Arapahoe and Eastern Shoshone tribes, to complete additional sampling of wells in the Pavillion area. Amy Richards has a report. Even though Governor Matt Mead signed a bill into law broadening the definition of the synthetic substance known as spice, the compound that is reported to have made at least three people critically ill in Casper last week remains outside of Wyoming drug laws.
